Job summary

Collarcare Aged Care is expanding its team of Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care to older Australians across the Bathurst and Blue Mountains region of NSW. The role offers a tight-knit team, strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and flexible shifts you can pick via our portal.

We require AHPRA RN registration, Australian aged care experience (not placement), up-to-date vaccinations, police check, ID, work rights, CPR/First Aid, and NDIS screening or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Evidence of AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Working aged care facility experience in Australia (not placements).
• Two COVID vaccinations plus booster.
• Flu vaccination.
• Valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
• 100 points of ID.
• Valid work rights.
• Current CPR & First Aid.
• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care of residents.
• Document residents' condition and assist with medication administration.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Ensure a holistic model of care is followed on every shift.
• Assist in admission and easing transitions for residents and families.
• Liaise with residents, family, doctors and allied health.
• Act in accordance with aged care standards on every shift.

What will you be doing? RN
