Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Westmead Hospital. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to complex haematology patients and transplant recipients in a fast-paced acute setting.

What you'll be doing As a Registered Nurse within the Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with complex haematological conditions and transplant needs. Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes while developing advanced clinical expertise.

In this role you will:

Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice

Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care

Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care

Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
