Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Ward 8E Haematology/Transplant Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital. You will care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, Bone Marrow transplant, radiotherapy and related intensive therapies.

Applicants must hold AHPRA RN Div 1 and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork within a multi-disciplinary team. NSW Health OASV and vaccination evidence are required.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with Division 1 registration by AHPRA.
  • Experience in an acute hospital environment with current clinical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Care for Haematology/Transplant patients (Chemotherapy, Bone Marrow transplants, radiotherapy).
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation and patient updates.

Ward 8E is a 21 bed Haematology/Transplant Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). Join our incredible team! You will care for patients requiring chemotherapy, Bone Marrow transplantation (including Auto, Allogenic and MUD transplants), radiotherapy, blood products among other intensive interventions required when dealing with Haematological disorders. Staff are supported by the NUM, CNE and CNC based on the ward and through the hospital.

  • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
