Job summary

Moran Engadine home seeks qualified Registered Nurses to join our care team. Above award rates apply: base pay $48.63-$57.50 per hour. Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday AM, Permanent Part Time. Reporting to Care Manager, provide high-quality nursing care and collaborate with residents, families and colleagues to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and nursing qualification required.
• Demonstrated caring and empathy with residents.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate individualised resident care plans and assessments.
• Clinical services including wound, medication and palliative care.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and families.
• Work with Clinical Leadership on complex clinical management.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.

About this opportunity

We are currently seekingqualified Registered Nursesto join our Care team at ourMoran Engadine home.Above award rates - $48.63 - $57.50 base per hour!

• Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday AM Permanent Part Time

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and support to the changing clinical needs of the residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.

Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make adifference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

You will be backed and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.

If you are a skilled, energetic, and dedicated Registered Nurse with the passion to improve our residents’ daily life, this role is for you.

• Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments
• Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care
• Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members
• Work with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical management
• Supervising and supporting our Personal Care Workers

Skills/Requirements:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Caring and empathetic
• Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills.
• Good assessment/prioritisation skills
• Able to work effectively and efficiently within a team
• Proficient level of verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
