Job summary

Nepean Hospital, part of Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for temporary full-time or part-time roles. The position offers hourly remuneration between $41.22 and $57.88 and a up-to 38-hour week, with rotating shifts across mornings, evenings, and nights.

This role requires current AHPRA registration and demonstrated acute care and coronary care experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Recent Acute Care Nursing experience as a registered nurse.
• Experience in Coronary Care Unit / Critical Care Nursing.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and eMR).
• Commitment to person-centred care.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including mornings, evenings and nights.

What you will bring to the role

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in Acute Care Nursing as a registered nurse (including Completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
• Demonstrated evidence of recent experience in Coronary Care Unit/Critical Care Nursing
• Able to perform effectively as a team member
• Demonstrated effective communication skills – written, verbal and eMR
• Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centre care
• Ability to work flexible rotating roster including Mornings, Evenings and Night shifts 7 days week
