Job summary

NSW Health at Nepean Hospital invites applications for an Enrolled Nurse in Cardiology. This permanent position is available as either full-time or part-time, working within a major teaching hospital to support cardiac care pathways.

You must hold current EN Division 2 registration with AHPRA and have acute nursing experience. The role requires teamwork with multidisciplinary staff and flexibility to cover day, evening or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience in acute nursing.
• Ability to provide person-centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the cardiac journey (admission, investigation, treatment, recovery, discharge).
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, Cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Organise and prioritise work to meet unit requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Nepean Hospital is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse – Cardiology to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care for people experiencing cardiac conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Registered Nurses, Cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in a specialised clinical setting.

You will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their cardiac journey, from admission and investigation through treatment, recovery and discharge. What you will bring to the role

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in acute nursing.
• Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
