Job summary

Royal Freemasons invites dedicated Casual Registered Nurses to join our not-for-profit aged care team in Melbourne. You will provide compassionate clinical care in a supportive, resident-centred environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, deliver evidence-based nursing, administer medications, complete care plans, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives. Requirements include current AHPRA registration, at least 2 years in aged care, strong assessment and communication

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supervising and supporting care staff
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A compassionate, flexible, and resident-focused approach
• A commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous improvements

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Lead, mentor, and support Personal Care Assistants
• Complete clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation accurately and efficiently
• Administer medications and treatments in line with legislation, policy, and best practice
• Monitor resident health and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals, and internal clinical teams
• Contribute to quality improvement, compliance, and resident safety initiatives
