Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for St Joseph’s in Coffs Harbour. You will deliver high-quality clinical nursing care to residents and play a key leadership role on the care team, coaching staff and building trust with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ nursing experience, ideally including aged care.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong clinical knowledge of ageing and age-related health conditions.
• The confidence to coach, mentor and support care staff.
• Strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional-intelligence skills.
• A positive, collaborative approach and competent IT skills.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

  The role
  Reporting to the Care Manager, you’ll provide high-quality clinical nursing care to residents while playing an important leadership role within the care team.You will:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care in line with best-practice nursing standards
  • Take the lead on shift, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to our personal care team
  • Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Support a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents and colleagues

  What you’ll bring:

  We’re looking for an RN who combines strong clinical capability with genuine warmth and compassion. You’ll ideally have:

  • Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
