Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our casual pool. You will provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse needs, work with families and the multidisciplinary team, and contribute to ongoing quality of life for residents.

You will bring current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, NDIS screening, and strong communication. A supportive organisation offers development opportunities and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Recognise and escalate resident deterioration, incidents and near misses.
• Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions.
• Support care team members to deliver safe, person-centred care.

You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing. **Experience and development** Aged care or other relevant clinical experience is valued but not essential. We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach.
