Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs in our aged care setting. You will work with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early, implement individual care plans and maintain high standards of infection control and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

What’s Required

Clinical knowledge

You understand how to recognise and respond to changes in a resident’s condition, including reduced oral intake, dehydration, weight loss, confusion or delirium, falls risk, reduced mobility, skin concerns and pressure injury risk.

You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing.

Experience And Development

Aged care or other relevantclinical experience is valued but not essential. We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach. You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.
