Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is hiring a Registered Nurse for casual shifts at Roden Cutler Lodge in Gordon. You will provide safe, compassionate clinical care to residents with diverse needs and collaborate with families and the multidisciplinary team to promote quality of life.

Required are AHPRA RN registration, a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, and clear communication. The role offers flexible casual availability, ongoing training, and supportive career development within our not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Recognise and escalate resident deterioration, incidents and near misses.
• Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions.

We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach. You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.**Casual availability**For casual roles, flexibility is important.
