Job summary

Bundaleer, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, invites a Registered Nurse to join our 90-bed aged care home in Port Macquarie. The role is part-time and casual, with weekday shifts and overnight support, focusing on safe, high-quality clinical care and resident safety.

You will conduct holistic assessments, develop care plans, supervise care staff, manage medications, and liaise with medical teams to uphold Aged Care Quality Standards, delivering person-centred care in a supportive, not-for-profit

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Unlimited working rights.
• Experience in aged care.
• NDIS Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care including wound, palliative and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health staff.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care per Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Maintain a positive resident experience with a resident-first approach.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse at Bundaleer, you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday shifts in our 90-bed residential aged care home. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical care, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care. This Part-Time and Casual role is ideal for a Registered Nurse confident working autonomously in a larger home.
