Job summary

Yackandandah Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide overnight clinical care for our 83-bed residential aged care home on a casual basis. You will manage resident care needs, respond to changes in condition, administer medications, and support care staff to ensure safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care and good communication skills.
• NDIS check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment with residents and representatives.
• Develop and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Provide clinical care including wound management and palliative care.
• Medications management and liaison with medical/health staff.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at Yackandandah Health, you'll provide overnight clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 83-bed residential aged care home on a casual basis. Reporting to the Manager, you'll manage resident care needs, respond to changes in condition, administer medications, and support care staff to ensure safety and continuity of care.
