Job summary

Bundaleer is seeking casual Personal Care Workers for our Wauchope facility in New South Wales. Flexible hours and arrangements are available, with both casual and permanent positions on offer.

The role focuses on person-centered care, assisting with daily living tasks, and supporting residents' health and well-being. Weekend and night shifts are available, with salary packaging and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing daily care and activities for residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Currently hold or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to residents' needs and preferences.
• Support clinical care such as medication support and wound care as required.
• Assist residents with social activities and accompany them to events.
• Perform domestic tasks like cleaning and meal service.
• Complete care documentation and daily progress notes.

What You Will Do

The Personal Care Worker is responsible for ensuring:

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Unlimited working rights, we do not offer sponsorship
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
