Job summary

PresCare Alexandra Gardens, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high‑quality clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 93‑bed residential aged care home. You will oversee overnight clinical requirements, respond to changes in resident conditions, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

This full‑time role is ideal for an RN confident managing AM, PM and overnight care in a larger setting.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience, preferably in aged care.
• Experience delivering clinical care overnight.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• NDIS check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment with residents and representatives.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Provide wound management, palliative care, and medications.
• Liaise with medical and allied health staff.
• Ensure care aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Foster a positive resident experience with a resident-first approach.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at PresCare Alexandra Gardens, you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 93-bed residential aged care home. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical requirements, respond to changes in resident conditions, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care. This Full-Time role is ideal for a Registered Nurse, confident managing AM, PM and overnight care in a larger setting.
