Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics to join the Sydney Adventist Hospital team. You will plan and implement perioperative nursing care, preparing the environment and equipment for safe anaesthetic provision and supporting the anaesthetist during preoperative and intraoperative phases.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years in an anaesthetics setting and at least 3 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital.

As a Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics you will be working collaboratively with the team to plan and implement perioperative nursing care, providing support to both the patient and anaesthetist during preoperative and intraoperative phases of surgical interventions as per ANZCA Guidelines. Prepare both the environment and necessary equipment for the safe provision of anaesthetics, implementing a systematic and methodical approach to tasks with the aim of fulfilling the unique clinical requirements of individual patients. You will work closely with an experienced and supportive team, reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager – Anaesthetics/PACU. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with the opportunity to be included in an on-call roster.
