Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics to join the Sydney Adventist Hospital team. You will plan and implement perioperative nursing care, preparing the environment and equipment for safe anaesthetic provision and supporting the anaesthetist during preoperative and intraoperative phases.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in an anaesthetics setting and at least 3 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in anaesthetics setting.
• At least 3 years as a Registered Nurse, providing high-quality clinical care in a hospital setting.
• Excellent patient assessment skills, able to quickly identify changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Knowledge of anaesthetic methods, agents, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement perioperative nursing care.
• Prepare the environment and necessary equipment for the safe provision of anaesthetics.
• Work closely with an experienced and supportive team, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager – Anaesthetics/PACU.
• Be included in an on-call roster as required.
