Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics to join the Sydney Adventist Hospital team. You will collaborate with clinicians to plan perioperative care and assist during preoperative and intraoperative phases, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires experience in anaesthetics, strong assessment skills, and current NSW registration. This permanent position operates Monday to Friday with an on-call roster, supporting a leading private hospital in NSW.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an anaesthetics setting.
• At least 3 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital.
• Excellent patient assessment skills.
• Knowledge of anaesthetic methods, agents and related equipment.
• Current NSW Nurses Registration and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to plan and implement perioperative nursing care.
• Support patient and anaesthetist during preoperative and intraoperative phases.
• Prepare environment and equipment for safe anaesthetic delivery.
• Report to the Nurse Unit Manager – Anaesthetics/PACU.
• Be available for an on-call roster as part of a permanent role.
