Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our beach house-inspired 118-bed community near Aldinga Beach. You will deliver person-centred care, complete clinical assessments and work with a multidisciplinary team to support residents’ wellbeing.

This role offers mentoring, study sponsorship up to $15,000, competitive pay and a supportive, values-driven environment where CARE is central.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, respectful and compassionate approach to resident care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Complete clinical assessments, monitor changes in residents' health and escalatate concerns as required.
• Administer and manage medications safely and accurately.
• Provide wound care, pain management, dementia support and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning reviews.
• Support, mentor and provide clinical guidance to care workers and enrolled nurses.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals and internal teams.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety and quality of life.
