Opal HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our aged care community in South Australia. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, support residents with complex health needs, and collaborate with families, doctors and the care team to ensure safe, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, respectful and compassionate approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Complete clinical assessments, monitor changes in residents’ health and elevate concerns as required.
• Administer and manage medications safely and accurately.
• Provide wound care, pain management, dementia support and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning reviews.
• Support, mentor and provide clinical guidance to care workers and enrolled nurses.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals and internal teams.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety and quality of life.

About the Role

• $41.59 - $53.36 (DOE) base rate + Penalty rates , Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.

As a Registered Nurse in aged care, you will provide high-quality clinical care, support residents with complex and age-related health needs, and work closely with families, carers, doctors and the wider care team. You will also help guide care staff and ensure care plans, documentation and medication practices are delivered safely and professionally.
