Job summary

Hassett Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our aged care facilities in Melbourne. You will deliver holistic, patient-centered care under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and support a multidisciplinary team to meet each resident’s needs.

The role requires AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and preference for aged care experience. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for eligible international candidates, with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing is essential.
• AHPRA registration is mandatory.
• Aged care experience strongly preferred.
• Postgraduate training in aged care or gerontology desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Provide safe, respectful and holistic nursing care.
• Administer and monitor medications.
• Lead and mentor ENs and personal carers during your shift.
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health staff.
• Advocate for residents and promote their wellbeing.
• Monitor health changes and respond with clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in health and safety initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering holistic and person-centered care to residents across the organisation's aged care facilities. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team while ensuring each resident's individual care needs are met.

ABOUT YOU
