NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for acute aged care at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. You will provide high-quality nursing care to elderly patients, coordinate with medical and allied health teams, and contribute to holistic, person-centred care plans.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, strong communication skills, and at least 1 year of hospital and aged care experience. Permanent full-time/part-time positions available with NSW Health benefits.

About the Role

In this role, the Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to elderly people in a hospital setting, working collaboratively with allied health professionals, the medical team and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred care to the aged care population. The role will involve medication management, complex wound care, supervising Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, as well as conducting comprehensive assessments and developing and implementing individualised nursing care plans.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
