Job summary

NSW Health at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse on a permanent basis (full time or part time minimum 24 hours per week). The role delivers patient-centred, evidence-informed care, with a rotating 7-day roster including nights and on-call duties. AHPRA registration is required and at least 2 years in an acute setting.

Remuneration ranges from $41.22 to $57.88 per hour plus annual leave loading and superannuation. Applications close 23 October 2026.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to further expand your Recovery nursing skills in this dynamic environment. Our team focused approach ensures the delivery of high quality patient care using evidence based practice.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

We are looking for someone who has…

A current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

An understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.

Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute setting.

An ability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, night duty, public holidays and participation in an on-call roster.
