Job summary

Colac Area Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Acute Services team to provide high-quality, timely, patient-centred bedside care for a range of medical and surgical patients, including general medical, orthopaedics, urology and gynaecology, and palliative care.

We offer permanent roles with full- or part-time hours, AHPRA registration, and a values-based workplace supported by extensive professional development and employee wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

  • Completion of graduate year or at least 2 years recent medical/surgical nursing experience
  • Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork, leadership and patient advocacy
  • Computer literacy

About the role

REGISTERED NURSE – ACUTE
Up to Full time hours available


Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.


We are currently seeking Registered Nurse's to join our Acute Services team to provide high quality, timely, patient centred bedside care for a wide range of medical and surgical patients including general medical, general and specialised surgical (orthopaedics, urology and gynaecology), and palliative care.


What’s required?

Registered Nurse - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)



  • Completion of graduate year or at least 2 years recent medical/surgical nursing experience

  • Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment

  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork, leadership and patient advocacy

  • Computer literacy
