Job summary

Lutheran Services Salem Aged Care in Toowoomba, QLD, seeks a Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care and lead care teams. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans and support residents to live with dignity and comfort.

You will mentor Enrolled Nurses and Personal Carers, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold infection prevention standards. AM/PM/Night shifts available; salary packaging benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Ability to lead and support care teams in a residential aged care environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for person-centered care and growth.
• Sound computer literacy and clinical documentation skills.
• Valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Conducting clinical assessments and developing person-centred care plans

• Responding to health concerns, acute deterioration and clinical emergencies
• Supporting residents living with dementia through safe behavioural management practices

• Administering and managing medications in line with best practice guidelines
• Supporting infection prevention and control initiatives
• Leading, mentoring and supporting Enrolled Nurses and Personal Carers

Remuneration: $42.19 - $50.03 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts & Benefits

Your Role
