Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities in NSW is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic care focusing on health, wellbeing and community connection for residents at Ashwood Residential Care. This casual role offers higher hourly rates (between $52.54 - 58.94) with salary packaging, ongoing training and uniform provided, plus regular shifts to support work-life balance.

You will lead and coordinate a care team, ensure nursing processes are delivered, and maintain person-centred care in line with AHPRA

Qualifications

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• NDIS Worker Clearance.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation and best practice.
• Ability to lead a team of Care Staff.
• Clinical assessment skills and care delivery experience.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and composure under pressure.
• Criminal History Check within last three years or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents per AgedCare standards.
• Deliver comprehensive care and case management under framework.
• Lead and coordinate care staff in daily activities and medication administration.
• Coach staff to close knowledge gaps and ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on person-centred care.
• Build relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain documentation and comply with compliance requirements.

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

Your Contribution

• Providethe highest standard of care for residents in accordance with the AgedCare Standards and Aged Care Act
• Delivercomprehensive care and individual case management to residents accordingto the organisational clinical framework and care model.
• Ensureeffective delivery of the nursing process through the effective residententry, assessment, care planning and delivery, evaluation and exit byrecognised professional standards.
• Lead andcoordinate care staff to effectively deliver residents care, everydayactivities, administration of medication and interventions that promote overallresident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coachthe care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care, develop skillsand knowledge gaps.
• Liaisewith a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centeredapproach
• Buildpositive relationships with Residents, families, and other staff members

The Essentials
