Job summary

Carinity Shalom in Rockhampton is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, with a flexible part-time roster that supports family life.

You will lead and mentor support staff, participate in care planning, administer medications, and ensure standards of care are met in a modern aged care setting close to local amenities.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years' recent nursing experience.
• Demonstrated clinical competence within aged care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for caring for older people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical and holistic care to residents.
• Support and mentor Personal Carers and Enrolled Nurses.
• Contribute to care planning and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Administer medications and manage clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards and best-practice care.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Help create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment.
