Job summary

Carinity is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time, casual roster in Rockhampton. The role supports work-life balance with 30 hours per fortnight across AM, PM and night shifts in an aged care setting.

You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to residents, mentor junior staff, participate in care planning, and ensure accurate clinical documentation while upholding standards.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years' recent nursing experience.
• Demonstrated clinical competence within aged care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for caring for older people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical and holistic care to residents.
• Support and mentor Personal Carers and Enrolled Nurses.
• Contribute to care planning and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Administer medications and manage clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards and best-practice care.

As a Registered Nurse at Carinity - Shalom (Rockhampton), you’ll provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents while supporting and guiding a team of Personal Carers and Enrolled Nurses.
