HealthcareLink Trust in Mittagong, NSW 2575, is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join a Women's Health focused general practice. The role offers a varied mix of clinical and administrative duties in a supportive team environment.

You will perform immunisations, health checks, wound care, ECGs, and chronic disease management plans, while maintaining meticulous records and contributing to patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Australian registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
• Experience in primary care or general practice nursing preferred but enthusiastic early-career nurses will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical procedures and deliver patient education effectively.
• Strong organisational skills, clinical judgment, and ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and moderate computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Deliver compassionate nursing care using a trauma-informed approach, ensuring clients feel safe, respected, heard and supported throughout their care.
• Deliver immunisations, practice health checks, and routine clinical procedures such as wound dressing, suture removal etc. Support chronic disease management plans for patients with chronic disease and other long-term conditions. Perform ECGs in accordance with practice protocols.
• Provide health promotion, patient education, and preventive care advice tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to patient records with attention to privacy and confidentiality. Assist with triage, telephone advice, and coordination of care with GPs.
• Support practice quality improvement initiatives, accreditation processes and infection control practices.
