Job summary

Apollo Care Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver overnight clinical care at PresCare Groundwater Lodge. The role is part-time (53.2h per fortnight) and based in a 57-bed aged care home in Maryborough. You will oversee overnight clinical needs, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

This role suits an experienced RN with a focus on holistic, patient-centered care and collaboration with the care team and medical staff.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration is required to practice as a nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience delivering clinical care in an aged care setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for person-centered care.
• NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and representatives.
• Develop and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Provide clinical care, including wound management, palliative care and medication management.
• Liaise with medical and allied health staff.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Foster a positive resident experience with a resident-first approach.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at PresCare Groundwater Lodge, you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 57-bed residential aged care home. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical requirements, respond to changes in resident conditions, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

This part-time role (53.2h per fortnight), ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse.
