Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Maryborough is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in an aged care setting. You will guide care staff, coordinate assessments, and influence positive resident outcomes with respect for dignity and privacy.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe practices, and participate in ongoing professional development. This role offers full-time hours, a competitive salary, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse (essential)
• Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team within aged care
• Knowledge of accreditation standards in aged care
• Ability to lead, delegate and support positive outcomes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Genuine empathy and teamwork
• Recent National Police Check (within 12 months)

• Ensure compliance with medication management, infection control and safety standards.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse (essential)
• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in an aged care settingKnowledge of contemporary issues in the aged care sector and relevant accreditation standards
• Ability to provide leadership, delegate effectively, and contribute to positive care outcomes.
