Job summary

The Bays Aged Care, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care on Monday to Friday AM shifts in our 90-bed residential home in Victoria.

You will assess residents, develop care plans, supervise care staff, manage medications, liaise with medical teams, and ensure a resident-first approach in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration required.
• 2+ years' nursing experience in aged care preferred.
• Ability to assess and plan resident care.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.

Job description

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at The Bays Aged Care, you'll deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday shifts in our 90-bed residential aged care home. On a Full-Time basis, reporting to the Manager, you'll oversee overnight clinical needs, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday on the AM shift.

Who are you and what will you bring?

• AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in providing clinical care in the aged care sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for delivering a person-centered approach to care
• NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
