Job summary
Yackandandah Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide overnight clinical care in our 83-bed residential aged care home. You will report to the Care Manager and ensure safety and continuity of care, supporting staff and residents with high-quality, person-centred care.
The role is permanent part-time, totaling 47.5 hours per fortnight across four nights (Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun). AHPRA registration, 2+ years RN experience, and a passion for aged care are essential conclusions.
Qualifications
- AHPRA registration as a nurse is required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Experience in aged care is preferred.
- NDIS Check or willingness to obtain is required.
- Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach.
Responsibilities
- Holistic assessment with residents and representatives.
- Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans.
- Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
- Clinical care including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
- Liaison with medical and allied health staff.
- Provision of safe, high-quality care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Positive resident experience with a resident-first approach.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring:
