Job summary

SmartClinics Manunda is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly team. The role is casual or permanent part-time, with no weekend work and standard hours 8:30am–4:30pm. Experience in Chronic Disease Management and strong interpersonal skills are valued.

You will work independently and as part of a team in a busy general practice, adapting to change with a positive approach. Current AHPRA registration is essential; proficiency with Best Practice is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential.
• Availability to work full days (8:30am-4:30pm) with Monday and Friday availability preferable.
• Experience in general practice and/or emergency settings is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to high nursing care standards and patient safety.
• Competent computer skills; Best Practice experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Chronic Disease Management across patient cohorts.
• Triage and management of acutely unwell patients.
• Immunisations of children and adults.
• Wound care and wound management.
• Health assessments including workplace medicals.
• Assisting with minor procedures.
• Results notification and patient education.

Experience in General Practice is not required but a willingness to learn, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

About the Position

Our ideal candidate will have experience with Chronic Disease Management and strong interpersonal skills. They will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry.

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
• Availability to work full days (8:30am-4:30pm) with Monday and Friday availability preferrable
• Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable but not essential
• The ability to work both independently when required and cohesively within a team environment
• Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care
• Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice not essential but highly regarded)
• Strong communication and time management skills
