Job summary

Singleton Medical Centre and Skin Clinic – Singleton NSW is seeking a Full Time Practice Nurse to join our Singleton Practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You will work with an experienced team of General Practitioners to provide high-quality and comprehensive services to patients.

Applicants must be an AHPRA-registered nurse with an immunisation certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered nurse is essential.
• Immunisation certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment is essential.
• Experience in General Practice or acute setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of Health Assessment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time management skills are required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data.
• Pre-Employment Medicals including Order 45.
• Audiometry.
• Respiratory Fit Testing.
• Drug and Alcohol Screening.
• Care plans and Health Assessment.
• Childhood and Adult immunisation.
• Wound dressings and removal of sutures.
• Set up and assist with small procedures.
• Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals.

The Successful Candidate

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (Essential)
• Best Practice Software experience (Desirable)
• Must hold an immunisation certificate or willing to complete their immunisation certificate within 3 months of employment. (Essential)
• Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Health Assessment (Desirable)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• A passion for people and a personable approach
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other nursing and clinical staff.
• Be available between the clinic's opening hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm
