Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join the St Agnes Residential Facility on a part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality clinical care while supporting residents' dignity, comfort and wellbeing.

In this role, you will lead night and morning shifts, administer medications, manage wound care, document care accurately, and mentor care staff to ensure best practices. Join a values-driven not-for-profit that supports staff development.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Experience in aged care or similar clinical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgement and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
• Monitor residents' health and respond to clinical needs during night and morning shifts.
• Administer medications, manage wound care, and complete accurate documentation.
• Provide leadership and clinical oversight to care staff on shift.
• Support and mentor Care Workers to ensure best practice standards.
• Foster a safe, calm, and respectful environment for residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and external health professionals.

About Your Role

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to respectful, person-centered care
• Ability to work independently, particularly during night duty
• Current National Police Check, First Aid, and Manual Handling certificates

Desirable:

• Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential)
