Job summary

Royal North Shore Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking a Registered Midwife to join a woman-centred maternity team. The role is rotational across Antenatal Clinics, Birth Unit, Maternity Unit and Home midwifery, with a 38-hour week on a permanent full-time or part-time basis until 22 February 2027.

Applicants will hold current AHPRA registration and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Recent experience across antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across antenatal clinics, birth unit, maternity unit and home settings.
• Respond to clinical needs in a rotating roster.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Registered Midwives - join the amazing woman centred team at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Maternity Unit. There are temporary full time and part time positions available. Positions are rotational - working a rotating roster across Antenatal Clinics, Birth Unit, Maternity Unit and Midwifery in the Home.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues.
• Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
