Job summary

NSW Health at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Registered Midwife to deliver woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

The Registered Midwife is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• A current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• An understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
• Commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
