Job summary
ScaleUp Technologies GmbH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and commission Wireless Access Points across multiple Australian locations. You will perform on-site cabling, connectivity testing, and site surveys while ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
The role requires hand‑on experience with WAPs and strong networking fundamentals. You will troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues, document installations and report on project progress, traveling between sites such
Qualifications
- Experience installing and supporting Wireless Access Points (Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Meraki, Ruckus or similar).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs).
- Experience with structured cabling and network hardware installation.
- Ability to perform hardware swaps, testing, and cutovers.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission Wireless Access Points (WAPs) on-site.
- Perform network equipment installation, cabling, and connectivity testing.
- Complete cutovers and ensure minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and network issues.
- Conduct site surveys and validate installation requirements.
- Complete installation documentation and project reporting.
- Work independently across multiple customer locations.
