Global Network Field Technician — APAC Travel

Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Sydney is seeking a Network Field Technician to join our Global Network team. You will support Project Management and Network Engineering to deploy networking hardware for global customers and deliver best-in-class service.

You will travel to customer sites across the APAC region and collaborate with engineers on design, implementation, and problem resolution, including site surveys and wifi assessments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years network deployment experience and/or Data Centre experience.
• CCNA/JPNA/CompTIA preferred.
• Willingness to travel to APAC/global customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install network hardware, components and cabling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cabling, copper and fibre issues.
• Inspect copper and fibre lines to standards.
• Rack and stack networking gear in data centres.
• Provide technical support across communication channels.
• Collaborate with network engineers and project managers.
• Assist design, implement and resolve network problems.
• Survey sites including MDF/IDF readiness and power/cooling.
• Conduct Pre and Post Wifi surveys using standard tools.
