Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a Truck Driver (Truck Trailer) to safely operate Council truck and trailer combinations across our regional network, supporting road construction, maintenance and civil works.

You will perform pre-start inspections, couple/uncouple trailers, load/unload and secure plant and materials, keep records, and liaise with the Superintendent and crew to ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law.

Competenze

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles and truck/trailer combinations.
• Ability to complete pre-start documentation, running sheets and fuel records.
• A sound understanding of WHS requirements for operating heavy vehicles.
• A current HR Driver Licence or higher and a General Construction Induction White Card.
• Successful pre-employment medical which may include drug and alcohol testing.
• Current vaccination evidence for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus.
• Desirable: Certificate III in Civil Construction and Traffic Controller Cards.

• Undertake daily pre-start inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Safely couple/uncouple trailers and load/unload materials.
• Secure plant and loads for transport and manoeuvre within depots and worksites.
• Maintain accurate operational records and daily running sheets.
• Communicate with the Superintendent and crew on progress and ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law.
