Job summary

L&F Transfers is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee transport operations across our Central Queensland depots in Rockhampton, Blackwater, Emerald and Charters Towers. Role is senior leadership with responsibility for performance across multiple locations, with regular travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management within transport/logistics.
• Experience leading multi-site teams across depots.
• Strong WHS knowledge and compliance with legislation.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Central Queensland.
• MR licence and Driver Authority required or ability to obtain them.
• Qualifications in business management, transport operations or fatigue management highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transport operations, rostering and resource allocation across multiple depots.
• Manage operational budgets and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
• Lead, support and develop depot teams and leadership personnel.
• Drive safety, quality, health and environmental compliance across all locations.
• Monitor performance, KPIs, service delivery and reporting requirements.
• Oversee incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage client relationships and ensure contractual service delivery.
• Ensure fleet assets, facilities and processes meet safety standards.
• Support tender submissions and broader operational planning.
• Promote a strong safety culture and consistent standards.
