Headland Technology Pty Ltd in Perth seeks a Regional Services Manager to lead the WA service team, own the P&L, and enhance customer experience across sophisticated manufacturing technology.
You will build a high-performing team, strengthen OEM relationships, and grow service revenue, while prioritizing safety and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends people development with strategic execution to keep customers productive and equipment performing.
Lead the Team. Lift the Customer Experience. Make a Difference.
Location: Perth, WA
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
At Headland Technology, we don't just sell and service machinery. We work alongside manufacturers to keep critical equipment performing, solve complex problems and help our customers get more from their technology over the long term.
We're looking for an experienced Regional Services Manager to lead our Service business across Western Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced service leader who wants to do more than keep the wheels turning.
You’ll have the opportunity to build a great team, strengthen customer relationships, improve how we work and help grow the Service business. You’ll have the freedom to make a difference, backed by experienced people, leading global technology partners and a business that genuinely wants to keep getting better.
You’ll take ownership of the regional Service operation and lead a team of Service Engineers and Service Coordinator supporting sophisticated manufacturing technology across our customer base.
You’ll be responsible for the customer experience, your people, operational performance and commercial results - from breakdown support and preventative maintenance through to training, installations, refurbs and other lifecycle services.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Lead the Team – You’ll coach and develop your people, set clear expectations and build a team that is capable, accountable and genuinely enjoys working together.
Lead the Service Business - You'll own the regional Service P&L and understand the numbers behind the operation – commercial, team and customer performance.
Own Customer Experience – You'll make sure customer commitments are delivered, difficult situations are handled professionally and we learn when things don’t go to plan.
Keep the Operation Moving - You'll stay close to all aspects of service operations, making sure the right people are on the right priorities and customers are well informed.
Grow the Business - You'll know your region deeply and work to identify opportunities for existing and new services that add genuine customer value.
Improve How We Work - You'll challenge unnecessary complexity and use systems, data and digital tools to make Service easier to manage, more productive and scalable.
Lead Safety - You'll set the standard for safe working practices and make sure safety remains part of everyday decisions around people, travel and customer‑site activities.
We're looking for someone who knows Service.
You understand what it's like to support complex industrial equipment in the field. You understand the pressure of a machine being down, the importance of keeping customers informed and the realities of managing engineers, workload, technical escalations and competing priorities.
But technical credibility alone isn't enough.
We're looking for a people leader - someone who gets satisfaction from building capability in others and creating a team that performs without needing the manager to personally solve every problem.
Importantly, you’ll be the type of person who brings:
Within your first 12 months, you will have:
Ideally, you’ll be:
People first. You enjoy seeing people grow and succeed.
Customer passionate. You genuinely care about the experience customers receive.
Commercially switched on. Understanding excellent service and profitable service should reinforce each other.
Calm under pressure. When things go wrong, you deal in facts, plans and solutions.
Empowering. You coach and build capability rather than being the one to fix everything.
Progressive and curious. You're willing to question how things are done and explore better uses of technology, systems and data.
Accountable. You spot issues early, bring solutions and follow things through.
Collaborative. You care more about the best outcomes than who gets the credit.
Resilient. Stay effective through growth, operational pressure and changing conditions
