Job summary

Elders is seeking a Category Lead - Seed to drive regional execution of the national retail strategy across its branch network. Ideally based in Toowoomba, but remote candidates from across Queensland or Northern NSW will be considered.

You will provide specialist guidance to branch teams, build category capability, and collaborate with agronomists and suppliers to achieve growth and stronger margins regionally.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Agriculture or related discipline.
• Accreditations such as Agsafe, ChemCert are desirable or required where applicable.
• Agricultural industry experience, ideally within rural products or agribusiness.
• Strong knowledge of product logistics, inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Branch management experience is desirable with strong margin, inventory and ROIC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver growth opportunities by developing regional initiatives across products, segments, markets and channels.
• Build category capability by providing branch teams with product, service and sales process knowledge and practical resources.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve outcomes by working with Retail Centre of Direction, Branch Managers and agronomists to execute plans.
• Develop supplier and industry relationships to support category growth and regional performance.
