Job summary

Pizza Hut Australia is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead and support franchise stores across Queensland, ensuring brand standards, profitable operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will develop teams, monitor performance, oversee food safety and licensing, and travel regionally as required to drive results. This role demands strategic planning, strong communication, and autonomy to implement priorities across the network.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site retail leadership with team motivation expertise.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, roadworthy vehicle.
• Experience in consulting, business partnering, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of legal compliance (NSF, labor laws) and licensing.
• Solid grasp of food safety, FSSAI, operational standards, and WH&S.
• Independent decision-maker with strong autonomy and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to lead and engage teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support franchise stores to deliver the brand promise.
• Align teams to brand standards and model key priorities.
• Foster morale and drive accountability across store operations.
• Monitor performance using metrics and benchmark tools.
• Complete store visits and provide detailed feedback to the Regional Director.
• Own and assess talent across the market and lead store teams to guest experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu products, quality parameters, and safety standards.
• Identify quality-impacting parameters and devise practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, safety standards, and licensing.
• Develop store action plans for guest experience improvements.
