Job summary

ACCIONA in Australia seeks a Project Engineer to join one of our regional NSW project teams. You will coordinate engineering works, scheduling, procurement, and quality control to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

The role reports to the Senior Project Engineer and requires strong planning, cost forecasting, and collaboration with subcontractors to meet high standards of workmanship on and off site. Based in NSW with regional site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting for projects.
• Ability to develop project delivery plans and assess commercial/technical risk.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SPE and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and assess risk to the project as well as the implementation of strategies to mitigate risk
• Cost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning
• Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors
• Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project
• Liaise with subcontractors to monitor and control their performance ensuring the quality and standard of workmanship performed both on and off site is in accordance with the specifications and relevant procedures
• Manage construction budgets to allow accurately profit / loss forecasting and monitors the financial performance for certain aspects of the project
