Job summary

ACCIONA Geotech is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate and control engineering works for a designated project in Australia. You will support the Construction Manager to complete the project safely, on schedule, and within budget, ensuring quality in line with ACCIONA standards.

The role requires tertiary Civil Engineering qualifications and 8+ years of project/delivery experience, with demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage costs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a project/delivery-based role.
• Experience leading high-performing teams.
• Strong forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Proven ability to plan and organise work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery to cost and time with adequate resources and client satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement strategies.
• Resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Manage budgets and forecast for parts of the project.
• Lead and develop large project teams on the ground.
• Coordinate activities with supervisors and stakeholders.
• Maintain quality, environmental, and safety systems on site.
• Oversee subcontractor performance to meet specifications.
• Monitor financial performance and profit/loss for project aspects.
