Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Engineer to join one of our regional NSW project teams. You will help coordinate and control engineering works, supporting the Senior Project Engineer to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality completion within budget.

You will participate in forecasting, budgeting, risk assessment, and scheduling, while coordinating with subcontractors and on-site teams to deliver projects to specification. The role offers growth within a Tier 1 contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar field is required.
• Experience forecasting and budgeting for projects is essential.
• Ability to translate design to written plans and drawings illustrating construction methodologies.
• Develop project delivery plans and assess commercial and technical risks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SPE and Construction Manager to deliver to cost and time with needed resources.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; implement risk management strategies.
• Control cost and forecast to assist project managers with planning.
• Build collaborative relationships with supervisors to coordinate activities.
• Maintain quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to meet specifications and procedures.
• Manage construction budgets to forecast profit/loss for parts of the project.
