Job summary

Flinders University is seeking a part-time Medical Director, Regional Training Hub NT, to provide academic and strategic leadership for rural and remote medical education across NT campuses. You will work with health services, colleges, and community partners to expand training capacity while supporting students, pre-vocational doctors and trainees through teaching and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated excellence in tertiary, clinical and/or simulation-based teaching.
• Experience providing educational leadership and mentoring across medical education programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and strategic leadership for the NT Regional Training Hub.
• Build partnerships with health services, hospitals, colleges and government agencies to increase training capacity.
• Lead, mentor and support medical students and doctors through teaching, supervision and career development.
• Contribute to curriculum leadership and accreditation activities to ensure high-quality outcomes.
