Job summary

AVADA Traffic Management is seeking an accomplished Regional Manager to lead a NSW operation in its Northern regions. You will own regional safety, operations, people, customer outcomes and financial performance, working with Supervisors and frontline teams to deliver safe, profitable outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility across clients and stakeholders, requiring performance-driven decision making and a focus on continuous improvement within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a region, branch network or multi-site operation.
• P&L, budget, cost-control and margin management accountability.
• Strong people leadership across Supervisors and frontline teams.
• Record of improving safety, service delivery and profitability.
• Experience managing key client relationships and growth opportunities.
• Experience in traffic management, civil construction or infrastructure.
• Understanding of traffic management regulations and safety protocols (TCAWS).
• Traffic Management Accreditation or higher, Traffic Controller accreditation, White Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant and efficient traffic management operations across the region.
• Own regional P&L performance, including budget delivery, revenue growth, gross margin, labour costs, fleet utilisation and cash flow.
• Build and retain strong relationships with key clients and identify opportunities for recurring revenue.
• Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, rostering team and frontline operational employees.
• Set clear expectations and build a high-performing regional culture.
• Champion safety leadership, HSEQ compliance, licensing and training.
• Improve workforce planning, rostering, equipment allocation and order-to-invoice accuracy.
• Use reporting to manage performance, identify risks and drive improvement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver regional business plans and growth initiatives.
